VIENNA

Some cities leave a mark that never fades. The Vienna unites past and present, a love letter to a city defined by its unique interplay of heritage, design, and elegance. Inspired by Viennese Modernism, the Vienna brings together a clear, architecturally influenced design language with the perfection of traditional Swiss watchmaking.

THE ART OF REDUCTION

The refined geometric lines of the Vienna reflect the city’s aesthetics, echoing the modernist legacy of the architects of the Wiener Moderne. At 6 o'clock, the Waltzing Disc moves in its signature rhythmic motion, while the domed sapphire crystal, perfectly flowing into the 39mm case, ensures an unobstructed view of every detail. The rhodium-plated indices, filled with Super-LumiNova®, ensure perfect legibility in any light.

Beneath the case back, the ultra-thin automatic movement CSS-V1 is finished by hand with the exclusive Côtes-de-Vienne decoration, a signature as distinctive as the city it references. The golden micro-rotor, engraved with imperial double griffins, remains a private detail known only to the wearer. So does the strap's inner side, where the iconic tiles of St. Stephen's Cathedral are stamped in a quiet, lasting tribute to Vienna.

MOVEMENT

The case back, made of scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, reveals the golden micro-rotor intricately engraved with the Carl Suchy & Söhne logo, featuring the double griffins, the Habsburg crown, and the double eagle. The watch runs on the ultra-slim automatic movement CSS-V1 providing a power reserve of 48 hours. The movement is hand-finished and is adorned by a beautifully done Côtes-de-Vienne finish.

CASE

The Vienna‘s 39mm stainless steel case elegantly plays with the opposing brushed and polished surfaces. With a height of just 7.9mm, the case is lightweight and lies smoothly on the wrist.

DIAL

The refined, geometric lines of the Vienna reflect the city’s aesthetics. Eric Giroud, the renowned designer of this timepiece, describes it as an homage to Viennese Modernism. The rotating second disc, completing a delicate pattern with every revolution, moves in sync with the city’s rhythm.
