WALTZ N°1 SKELETON

Crafted in small series of less than ten watches a year, the Waltz N°1 Skeleton is the intricate declination of the classic Waltz N°1.

Honouring Carl Suchy & Söhne's DNA, the dial has been carefully openworked along the horizontal and vertical lines, and adorned with the iconic rotating seconds-disc at 6 o'clock. Featuring the identical pattern, it aligns perfectly with the rest of the dial as it waltzes in a perfect circle once per minute.

Luxury Waltz Nº1 Skeleton with layered silver skeleton dial, black leather strap, and silver case, featuring the brand Carl Suchy & Söhne.

The Waltz N°1 Skeleton draws its design fluidity from Adolf Loos, the Austrian architect who defined the golden age of Viennese Modernism. His influence flows through every detail: from the sapphire crystal's curvature, mirroring the profile of the 41.5mm case, to the applied hour and minute indexes curved upward to follow the slope of the rehaut as it meets the baseband.

The dial’s open lines reveal just enough to anticipate the refinement of the ultra-thin skeleton automatic movement developed in collaboration with Vaucher Manufacture Fleurier.

At the case back, transparent sapphire glass reveals the movement's slender black PVD bridges and angles, each hand-finished by master craftsmen in hours of meticulous work. The movement is powered by a decentralised golden micro-rotor, elegantly finished with the same perpendicular striping as the dial, and providing 48 hours of power reserve.

DETAILS

MOVEMENT

The ultra-thin skeletonised automatic caliber, driven by a decentralised golden micro-rotor, offers a 48 hours power reserve. Its black PVD bridges and rhodium-plated angles have been meticulously hand-finished, laying bare the full intricacy of the movement within.

CASE

The case is crafted in stainless steel, its back closed by an anti-reflective sapphire glass that keeps the skeletonised movement permanently on display.

DIAL

The dial is openworked along its horizontal and vertical lines, dividing optically the dial in two sides and drawing the eye through to the movement beneath. At 6 o'clock, the rotating seconds-disc follows the same open pattern, a subtle nod to the fluid, circular grace of the Viennese Waltz.

STRAP & BUCKLE

The alligator strap features an inner pattern exclusively designed by Carl Suchy & Söhne, inspired by the work of Adolf Loos. The push-button folding clasp balances wearing comfort with refined detail, playing on the contrast between matte and polished surfaces.
