The Waltz N°1 Day & Night boasts clear lines and flowing design transitions remind of the great designers and architects that shaped the design of Vienna around 1900. Like Yin and Yang, the seconds disc at 6 o’clock dances its circles, bringing together the seemingly contrasting colours in perfect harmony and then again dividing the dial into two perfect halves every full minute.

DETAILS
MOVEMENT
The Waltz N°1 houses an ultra-thin automatic movement, developed in collaboration with Vaucher Manufacture Fleurier. Its decentralised gold-plated tungsten micro-rotor keeps the profile elegantly slim while delivering a 48-hour power reserve.
CASE
The 41.5mm stainless steel case is closed by an anti-reflective sapphire crystal case back, offering an unobstructed view of the movement within.
DIAL
The dial is divided by precise vertical and horizontal lines. At every full minute, the rotating seconds disc at 6 o'clock aligns perfectly with the pattern. The applied hour and minute hands are set into the dial itself, curved gently upward to follow the slope of the rehaut.
STRAP AND BUCKLE
The silk-matte black leather strap, finished with black stitching, features an inner pattern inspired by Adolf Loos. The push-button folding clasp plays on the contrast between matte and polished surfaces and is adorned with the historical Griffon logo of Carl Suchy & Söhne.
