Carl Suchy & Söhne cordially invites you to a Viennese Salon about Contemporary Art and the Luxury of Time. Join us at the Salon am Schwarzenbergplatz on June 8, 2021, 6-8 pm
In a first live event post-lockdown, Carl Suchy & Söhne-CEO and owner Robert Punkenhofer meets with Swiss artist Nives Widauer for a conversation about art, time, and the craft of watchmaking.
In her work, the Vienna-based artist Nives Widauer plays with the interface between analog and digital. In the last couple of years, Widauer expanded her media to painting and sculpture. Her works have recently been shown amongst other places at Kunsthaus Zurich, Museum Belvedere Vienna, Kunsthistorisches Museum Vienna, Austrian Cultural Forum New York, SPSI Shanghai.
Being Swiss in origin, Widauer is no stranger to the luxury watch industry and will engage with Robert Punkenhofer in a dialogue about her art, the meaning of time, and the Austrian- Swiss luxury watch brand Carl Suchy & Söhne.
Salon am Schwarzenbergplatz is hosted by journalist and networker Nicole Adler. We would like to thank her and Nives for the possibility to participate and look forward to welcoming you in person to our evening about the finer things in life!
