Carl Suchy & Söhne presents its very first Skeleton Edition at Baselworld 2018
Just in time for Europe’s most important watch week, Carl Suchy & Söhne reveals the new Waltz N°1 Skeleton, which comes in an exclusive edition of five timepieces. Designed by CEO Robert Punkenhofer, designer Rein Steger and watch maker Marc Jenni, the unique dial opens the view to the sophisticated skeletonized ultra-thin automatic movement, while its aesthetics retain the brand’s fundamental visual identity.
Held in stunning black PVD, the VMF5401/180 caliber movement’s slender plate and bridges are rhodium-plated and are finished with careful precision by the hands of master craftsmen, which increases its preciousness. Visible through the dial and glass case back, the off-centered micro-rotor provides 42 hours of autonomy.
This Skeleton Edition gives pride of place to the synergy of cutting-edge design and technical watchmaking skill. The exclusive edition is available by the end of March 2018.
